Anthony Travalgia: Projecting the Bruins opening night roster With opening night later this week, and the NHL roster deadline of 5 p.m. Tuesday, I take a stab at what I think the Bruins lineup will look like Thursday night in Dallas.

I still think you guys have arguably the best overall roster top to bottom in the NHL....and yes that includes the lightning. TB may have more top end talent but it takes more than that when the playoffs roll around. Intangibles, experience, toughness, physicality, etc...you guys have such a great mix of that AND plenty of top end talent too. The Blues also are obviously still right up there at the top too.

I’m picking you guys to win another Cup this season. Such a solid roster. I think Bjork breaks out at some point and you guys might also make another TDL addition. So as good as it looks now it’s actually going to look even better in time for the playoffs.

I think I’m with you on splitting up the top line. Playing Heinen up there obviously gets the most out of him and gives them an elite line 2. Based on those numbers the top line might honestly be better with Heinen. I’m also looking forward to Bjork being recalled in a few weeks. I’m sure they just want him to get more reps before they throw him to the wolves, he earned a spot. My lineup:

Marchand Bergy Heinen
Debrusk Krejci Pasta
Bjork Coyle Kuhlman
Lindholm Kuraly Wagner
